Hi everyone! I am Lauren Smith owner of The Art Party Place! I was always taught to use my imagination and to never be scared to take chances.
After I graduated college from Wilkes University and had my first child I knew I wanted to do more not only for myself but for my children. I wanted a place where I could go as a mom and create artwork with my children. My little idea although may have been small at the moment, took on a much larger roll that I was excited to explore and create. I am self taught in all things art. I love learning new mediums and helping others, just like me..learn the tricks and tips.
Our number One Mission for The Art Party Place is for everyone to make a memorable piece of artwork that they can cherish for a lifetime. It doesn’t matter if your a toddler or an adult, we have something for everyone.
I believe there Is no wrong way to create artwork. Everyone, every artist has their own techniques that work for them. It’s important to embrace those techniques to make one-of-a-kind artwork that you can cherish for years to come.
Its not always about the end product, but the experience you had.
I believe it’s important to take risks..whether it’s in paintings or life. It’s the experience that helps each person grow.
I hope every person who walks through our doors leaves with an experience they not only
